Is the app really free?
Yes, completely free. No subscription, no ads, no in-app purchases. The app will stay free in the future too.
Which competitions can I predict?
Hockey leagues (Slovak Extraliga, NHL, World Championship), football leagues (Premier League, Champions League, EURO, World Cup), F1 and MotoGP races. You pick the specific competitions when creating a group.
Can I play for money?
No. TipLeague is purely a fun app — no betting, no cash prizes. You only compete for a place on the leaderboard, virtual trophies and achievements.
How do points work?
You earn base points for a correct match outcome (winner or draw). A bonus for the exact score. A hattrick for three exact predictions in a row. For races you get points for each correctly predicted driver in the top 3 or top 10. The group admin can adjust the exact values when creating the group.
How do I add friends to a group?
Create a group, get an invite code and send it to your friends. They just enter it when joining. Groups can also be public — in that case anyone can join.
How many people can be in one group?
There's currently no limit. For sensible fun we recommend 5 to 50 players, but technically it handles hundreds with no problem.
Does the app work without internet?
Predictions need the internet to save and sync. You can view your previous prediction history offline if you've already loaded it once.
Which languages does the app support?
Slovak and English fully, with more languages available across the interface, notifications and support. Switch the language in the app profile. We'll add more based on demand.
Who adds matches and results?
Competitions and their rules are added by the TipLeague admin (mostly automatically via sports APIs). Results are set as soon as they're officially known.
Do you process my data in line with GDPR?
Yes. You can read in detail about what we know about you and why in the Privacy Policy. In short — email, username, predictions and stats. Nothing more.
How do I change my email or password?
Coming soon. For now contact us at maros@oktodigital.com and we'll help you.
How do I delete my account?
In the app under **Profile → Delete account** (at the very bottom). After a double confirmation everything is erased instantly. Details are on the Delete account page.
